We learnt our craft at leading research agencies throughout the ‘90s to the present day. We met and came together as a senior team in the heart of Soho; the historic home of brand, communications and advertising.
Our journey could be said to have begun on the corner of Old Compton Street and Dean Street. Hence our name.

Rachel entered the world of research 15 years ago, in brand and comms tracking. Frustrated with numbers, combined with a desire to dig deeper and find out “why?”, she made the switch to qual….and hasn’t looked back.

Anna has been a researcher for over 15 years having previously worked within the qual teams of two large-scale international research agencies. She has worked across the gamut of sectors and on all manner of research challenges, but brand and communications research is where her heart is at.

Gone are the days of us (the researchers), and you, the client versus them (the respondents). The beauty of teamwork means everybody involved (consumers and stakeholders) has a greater sense of ownership and interest in the problem we are trying to solve.
Research is an unfolding story, not a process.
There is little value in hearing the same thing over and over again. We treat each research session as a chapter in an unfolding story, adapting our conversation as the plot evolves.
